Minneapolis Economic Recovery

The city of Minneapolis has been impacted economically due to covid 19 pandemic, and business owners citing lawlessness. Downtown Minneapolis has lost 85% - 90% of it workers.
Over 50 business have permanently closed or relocated from downtown, 27 companies are considering leaving downtown to public safety concerns.

How do we stand up, act, and bring back Minneapolis back to a thriving, safe business friendly city?

    • Business will have to adopt to new business model and technology solutions, and the city can assist business to partner with organizations that can offer financing and support in adoption of new technologies, due to covid-19 crisis.
    • Investing in entrepreneurship by building equity districts to accelerate innovation
    • Offering support to business to become technology enabled.
    • Creating partnership between government and private sector to invest in program related investments.
    • Educate communities on income and wealth creation and assisting with fundraising.
    • Investing in capital funding to new companies, especially then affected by covid 19 pandemic.
    • Updating our local recovery planning efforts, by studying our data, what’s working and not working.

My neighbors, our city, our ward has been in the news lately, and seeing what’s happening, it breaks my heart. We do need new leadership in the city hall, and with your help, we can bring back Minneapolis to a safer and business friendly community.

I’m running for city council for my 4 kids, for you and for everyone in Minneapolis. It’s our collective responsibility and ownership to move forward Minneapolis from the current failed solutions to a better Minneapolis.

I’m kindly asking to represent this ward that I call home, to bring new pragmatic & proven progressive bold solutions.
